Greek Island Odyssey

Welcome to Athens! Birthplace of Greek mythology and home to some of the most impressive architecture in Europe, this ancient city will make you feel as though you’ve stepped back in time! Meet your fellow travellers at 3pm for your Welcome Meeting, where you’ll meet your Tour Manager and discover what is in store for the rest of the tour!

Shortly after the Welcome Meeting we’ll head off on the Ancient Acropolis Tour and discover the hidden secrets of this impressive monument. Your Athens Tour Guide will walk you up the Acropolis hill and unravel the important aspects of its glorious past. Tonight it's time to celebrate our first night in Greece with an authentic Greek meal!

This morning we’ll sip Greek coffee on the back of the ferry as we head to our first idyllic island, Paros! Well known for its stunning beaches and traditional fishing villages, the cobbled streets and blue and white coloured buildings will ease you into the Greek way of life in no time! We’ll arrive at our accommodation in the early afternoon and regroup for an optional lunch. Later this afternoon we’ll depart for Naoussa Village, a picturesque village on the northeastern corner of the island where we’ll explore the winding streets and colourful buildings. Tonight we’ll indulge in an optional dinner of authentic Greek cuisine in the town of Parikia.

It’s time to get active and explore Paros by foot! We’ll start our hike in Prodromos, traversing the Byzantine path to the highest point on the island, the village of Lefkes. After exploring this picture perfect village we’ll head to the coastal fishing village of Aliki to enjoy a traditional Greek lunch by the waters edge.

It wouldn’t be a trip to Paros without a chance to explore the crystal clear waters by boat! This afternoon we’ll head out on a traditional Greek boat to jump, dive and relax in the turquoise waters, before heading back into Parikia for dinner and drinks to finish off the day in style.

After a relaxed morning on island time, we leave Paros behind and make our way to our next Greek island, arriving in Naxos in the early afternoon.

Naxos is the largest island in the Cyclades and boasts lush green landscapes, ancient Byzantine ruins and a plethora of pristine beaches. You’ll have the afternoon to stroll through the cobblestoned Old Town and explore the 13th century Venetian castle! Make your way to Portara to enjoy a famous Naxos sunset in the remains of the ancient Apollo temple, before meeting up with your group for an optional dinner in the Old Town.

Rise and shine! This morning we’ll meet at 9.30am for the Naxos Explorer Tour, discovering the Venetian Towers and ancient marble quarries Naxos is famous for. We’ll head to Ano Potamia where we’ll start our hike to Kouri, exploring ancient ruins and learning the history of this part of the island. After we’ve worked up an appetite we’ll relax and unwind with lunch at the Vasiliko Taverna before exploring the picturesque Chalkio Village. We’ll continue exploring this diverse island with a visit to the Bazeos Tower and a late afternoon swim at Chora Naxos Beach.

Tonight you are free to explore the town and enjoy another stunning sunset before meeting for an optional dinner.

Today we make our way to one of the most famous and photographed islands in Europe; Santorini! After settling into the hotel we’ll head to the village of Oia; famous for its whitewashed buildings carved into the cliff face and incredible views out over the Caldera. Oia makes for incredible photo opportunities and showcases a variety of boutiques, galleries and bookstores for you to explore.

We’ll enjoy dinner together in Fira Town this evening, taking in the stunning views out over the water with a glass of local Santorini wine in hand.

Pinch yourself - you’re in Santorini! This morning we’ll explore the Caldera, take in the incredible Santorini views and discover the history of this fascinating island and its traditional villages. We’ll head to a local winery to taste unique Santorini wines and learn about viticulture on the island. This afternoon it's time for our last group lunch at the picturesque Perissa Beach! We’ll top off the afternoon with a swim before exploring the Emporio Village; a traditional settlement adorned with medieval architecture that is overlooked by a 15th century Venetian Castle!

Tonight you have free time to explore Fira Town and enjoy one last Santorini sunset!
